WHO RESPONDS

County rules and the Sheriff's Department

As an unincorporated area, Ladera Ranch is patrolled by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

There is no city government here, so alarm rules come from the Orange County Codified Ordinances, sections 5-3-307 and 5-3-308. They let the Sheriff-Coroner collect costs from alarm users whose systems send false alarms.
