New permits are filed online at coronaca.citysupport.org/licenses, and renewals at coronaca.citysupport.org. There is a one-time application fee and an annual renewal fee, with different renewal amounts for residential and commercial permits. Two official city pages list slightly different amounts, so please confirm the current fee with the city or APS when you apply.

How Corona charges for false alarms
Permitted locations get 2 free false alarms per calendar year. Unpermitted locations get none.
The count resets each calendar year, January 1 through December 31. Charges per the city’s schedule:
- Permitted: 1st $0, 2nd $0, 3rd $80, 4th $240, 5th and later $320
- Unpermitted: 1st $80, 2nd $120, 3rd $240, 4th $320, 5th and later $400
Appeals must be made in writing within 15 days of the charge notice.
