A low battery notification can notify users if a door lock reports a low battery.


Create a door lock low battery notification

To create a door lock low battery notification using the Alarm.com app: #
  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Tap .
  5. Tap Add.
  6. Tap System Event.
  7. Enter the desired name for the new notification rule.
  8. In Important, select A device has low battery.
  9. In Recipients, tap Add to add notification recipients.
  10. Tap to select your desired recipients from the Address Book, or add an unlisted recipient by tapping Add Contact.
  11. Tap Close.
  12. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
  13. Tap Save.
To create a door lock low battery notification using the Alarm.com customer website: #
  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Notifications.
  3. Click New Notification.
  4. Click System Event.
  5. Enter the desired name for the new notification rule.
  6. In Important, select A device has low battery.
  7. In Recipients, click Add to add notification recipients.
  8. Click to select your desired recipients from the Address Book, or add an unlisted recipient by clicking New.
  9. Click Close.
  10. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
  11. Click Save.

  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Tap .
  5. Tap the desired notification.
  6. Make the desired changes.
  7. Tap Save.
To edit a door lock low battery notification using the Alarm.com customer website: #
  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Notifications.
  3. Click Edit next to the desired notification.
  4. Make the desired changes.
  5. Click Save.
