Anaheim office, close to the LA County line
Serving Southern California
A large share of our customers live and work across the LA County line, in cities like Long Beach and Cerritos. Our Anaheim technicians install and service systems throughout the southeast part of the county, backed by our own UL-listed central station.
Permit rules change a lot across LA County
LA County has 88 cities, and alarm rules vary widely between them.
City of Los Angeles: every residential and business alarm user needs a permit, $60 to start and $31 a year to renew. There is no free false alarm. With a permit, false alarm fees run $260 for the first, rising to $410 for the fourth and beyond. Without one, they start at $360.
Long Beach: the permit has to be in place before the system is installed. See our Long Beach guide.
Cerritos: the permit is free and the first three false alarms each calendar year carry no fine.
Sheriff or city? Many LA County cities contract with the LA County Sheriff’s Department for policing, but the alarm permit itself is usually issued by the city. We check the rules for your address before we install.
